Reynolds, and I am Minister of Music for two Jacksonville Churches. I have been patronizing Valve Pawn stores throughout Jacksonville, over 30 years making purchases of musical intruments and equipment for my personal use as well as for churches. With that said, on 11/3/17 I went into this location and saw they had an Alesis Electric Drum set on sale for $99 dollars due to missing cords. They also had a Yamaha set for the regular price.
The bass drum pedal of the yamaha set was with the alesis set which the sales guy noticed. He had to go in the back to get the rest of the pieces that go with the alesis set. I made the purchase and went home to set it up to find that the high hat was missing as well. I called the sales guy to ask if he would look to see if it was in the back as well.
I returned to the store on Monday 11/6 the sales guy saw me come in and shook his head he did not see the high hat for the set I purchased. In browsing the area where the yamaha set was I saw the high hat for my set and informed the sales guy that this was the missing part of my set. He informed the manager who stated the part was interchangable and belonged to the Yamaha set. Please note the difference of the two sets pictured!
I left the store, but stopped at another value pawn on atlantic and noticed they were selling the same yamaha set, so I took a picture to show that the high hat for my set did not belong with the yamaha set. I returned to the store to speak with the manager and show her this, but she was unwilling to hear me and insisted that I bought the set as is. Your company values state that; People Matter Most, We Deliver Solutions For Our Customers, and We Deliver On Our Commitments! After inquiring about a regional manager, she stated she will let me bring the set back and refund me, but this is not what I wanted, due to now having to go and take the set back from a 13 year old boy who I bought it for, who play drums for the church.
The best and only solution would be to give me the missing part of the set they sold me. Please look into the way your store manager at this location is treating your customers! I wish to be contacted regarding this situation. Thank You, Mr.
